I was excited to hear about jewellery designer Nicholas King’s collaboration with Freedom at Topshop, designing a range of exclusive jewellery and accessories which was launched in-store on November the 4th 2011.
I remember my first meeting with him in 2009 at London Fashion Week. I was drawn to his designs and stopped by his stand for a chat. I was taken by King’s creativity, originality and quality of this work. This was something I had not seen before – it was mind blowing, fabulous, and extraordinary.
I’m a girly girl who loves sparkles, this is why I love this collection and I will definitely go for the big and bold skull stud bangle.
Since meeting Nicholas I have used his jewellery in my styling work.
His official fashion press and stores launch was in February 2009. Since then he has been growing massively within the jewellery and fashion industries. His style can be bold and challenging but some is understated with smart, classic and glamorous signature twist to it. Nicholas has worked at Alexis Bittar in New York, John Galliano and Donna Karan.
